Our Story

I enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy at the age of 17, discharging at 26. Over nearly a decade of service, my career took me to 11 countries, with more than two years spent at sea. Those years brought some of my most cherished memories, but they also left me navigating the ongoing challenges of PTSD.

This journey has led me here. Together, Carli and I created Always Offroad as both an escape from the demands of everyday life and a way to reconnect with the freedom and beauty of our country. Beyond adventure, our mission is to share our story, raise awareness of PTSD, and remind others that—no matter how dark the path may seem—there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Just a simple country girl from Toowoomba who loves a bit of camping, fishing and 4wding (Anything outdoors really). Met Emma in 2023 whilst in the Navy which then later on led to us moving back to sunny QLD with a passion to raise awareness for veterans mental health.
